Dorset Poultry
is farmed by Peter and Jo with 40 years experience in caring for hens, they have been producers for Waitrose helping to promote a higher welfare code for laying hens in free range and organic flocks.  We setup Dorset Poultry in October 2010 to help everybody enjoy poultry keeping from two hens upwards. Our farm is located in a beautiful rural setting against the backdrop of our other business raising pot grown Christmas trees for the rental market (www.treesforrent.com). The farm is enclosed by Wolfdale golf course and has views over the county town of Dorchester and Prince Charles’ estate Poundbury. We can offer courses for the new poultry keeper to the more advanced and these can be tailored to suit your requirements. Holiday accommodation is also available on site. |
